It won't get very strong - gusts of 15-20 mph but with temperatures of 0 to 10 it will feel like -5 to -15 by dawn Wednesday. Whether your temperature is 10 or 0 the wind chill will end up below zero overnight as winds pick up from the southwest. This seems especially likely in parts of eastern Kentucky. Where clouds remain scattered readings could easily reach 0. Where those clouds redevelop temperatures may level off around 10 degrees. The temperature forecast is a bit tricky tonight as some low clouds are breaking up but may redevelop overnight. Watch out even walking to your car, as sidewalks and driveways will be icy as well. Temperatures in the teens heading into the single digits means the salt laid down on roads isn't as effective as it is at higher temperatures, so icy areas can develop quickly. The other threat is icy roads, even ones that trended pretty well earlier today can get icy again tonight now that the sun has set. Sunday will also be mostly dry for all, but there's a chance for a few showers to enter the state sooner than planned in the extreme SW and NW of Utah. Overall, expecting plenty of dry time Saturday with peeks of sunshine and near average highs in the low 40s. Spotty snow showers will likely continue at times in the central and northern mountains, then a weak cold front moving through the western half of the state could spark a few isolated showers across the northern half of Utah during the day.
